SSI Extended Range Nitrox provides the knowledge and experience required to independently plan and conduct limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 130 feet, using nitrox mixtures up to 50%. This entry-level program introduces you to the Extended Range training techniques and skills, and can be completed wearing a standard single-cylinder equipment configuration

Extended Range Nitrox Encompasses

• Limited Decompression using Nitrox mixtures
• Decompression obligations limited to 15 minutes
• Using a recreational total diving system with a stage cylinder
• "Little deeper, little longer"

SSI Extended Range provides divers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 150 feet, using decompression mixtures of up to 100% oxygen and specialized diving equipment and procedures, for a maximum accumulated decompression time of 25 minutes, with an equally-qualified dive buddy.

Extended Range Encompasses

• Decompression procedures using 50% to 100% mixtures
• Decompression obligations limited to 25 minutes
• Using a Extended Range Total Diving System with a stage cylinder

Extended Range Trimix Encompasses

• Using Trimix mixtures to reduce narcosis(min. of 21% oxygen)
• Decompression procedures using 50% to 100% mixtures
• Decompression obligations limited to 25 minutes
• Using a Extended Range Total Diving System with a stage cylinder
